Shift Blogger Blog from One Google Account to Other

One of my visitor ask me a Question that how can we shift a Blogger blogspot blog from one Google account to other ? so I figure out the trick or way to do so. Blogger allows you to invite up to one hundred (100) authors to contribute to the blog. Admin privileges will remain with the Google account which creates the blog for the 1st time. These authors can write the posts but can not access the posts by other authors and also can not access the settings and template of the blog. In short the authors can only create and edit their own posts. But the administrator of the blog can give admin privileges to any other author of the blog. We can use this method to shift Blogger blog from one Google account to other account.

In the tutorial given under we will call the Google account  (from which you want to shift Blogger blogspot blog to other account ) as 1st Google account and Google account ( account at which you want to shift the blogger blogspot blog) as 2nd Google account.

1. Log in to Blogger by using 1st Google account.

2. Go to Setting > Permission

3. Under Blog Authors you can find the button Add Authors. By clicking the button it will give you field to give email address to invite other authors for the blog. In the field write the email address associated with the 2nd Google account and invite. Log out from Blogger.

4. Go to Gmail by logging in through 2nd Google account and you will find the invitation email. Follow the instructions in the mail and accept the invitation offer. After completing the invitation offer you can see the blog in blogger Dashboard but with limited privileges as you joined the blog as author.

5. Now log out from Blogger and log in again with 1st Google account and again go to Setting > Permissions. Now you can find 2nd Google account as author. You can find the link “ grant admin privileges “ in front of it. By following the link you can grant the admin privileges to 2nd Google account.

6. After completing the above step your blog will be having two admin accounts i.e 1st Google account and 2nd Google account. You can either remove the 1st Google account by utilizing Remove Button in front of it or you can only revoke the admin privileges from the link “ revoke admin privileges “ . To completely shift the Blogger blog from 1st Google account to 2nd Google account remove the 1st Google account and from now on you can use your 2nd Google account to administrate the blog.
