First of all you should know what are the keywords you are targeting for and then use those keywords in your post title and as well as in your post.It is also important to know that permalinks in Blogger comes from your post title when you 1st publish them and you cannot change the permalink afterwards even if you change your post title. So think and look at your title before pressing publish button in Blogger blogspot.Try to create search engine friendly permalinks. Make your post keyword rich but don't try to stuff your post with keywords as Keyword stuffing is being penalized by major search engines.Sprinkle your keywords all over the post. Submit your site maps to popular search engines like Google, Yahoo etc. So that they can indexed your site if you have not done that than do it at
Google:       Webmaster tools
Yahoo:        siteexplorer

They will first of all authenticate/verify your site/blog owner ship and than you can submit your sitemap there.

1.Build Quality Backlinks

Backlink building is on going process and cannot be achieved over night. It require consistency and hard work. People do commits common link building mistakes during link building which should be avoided. The backlinks or inlinks are not all about number. It’s the quality which matters. Ten links from different High Page Rank sites are better than thousand link from low rank and low quality sites. So work on the ways to get and increase the quality backlinks.
There are many ways to increase the backlinks but most common ones are;

(i) Submit your blog to blog directories.

This method will work in two ways for you it will not only generate quality backlinks for you but will also generate traffic for you.

(ii) Participate in forums

Participating in forums also work in more than one way. It generate traffic for you, built quality links for you and increase your knowledge. Now concentrating on the aspect of backlinks through forums there are number of do follow forums present on the web which provide you do follow links. These forums gives you an opportunity to provide a signature under each of your thread or reply etc. You can provide the link of your blog in this signature with the anchor text for the keywords your are targeting for.

(iii) Comment on Other Blogs.

This is the same way as describe above. Many blogs are do follow blogs which gives you opportunity to get a back link by commenting on such blog. But while commenting you should keep in mind that you provide quality comments after carefully reading the post.Commenting not only gives your blog the much needed backlinks but also the exposure.
