Alt image Text for Images
Its important to add Alternate or Alt image text for the images you added to your blog. Windows Live Writer make this task easy. After uploading the image it gives you many options to tweak image according to your need and you can also add the Alternate Text for the image you uploaded.
Html Heading for the Post
Html headings (h1,h2,h3....h6) are important SEO aspect of any blog post. The better blog posts are written in section and each section should be defined by the html heading. To make your blog search engine optimized its better to book the biggest html heading h1 for the title of the blog. h2 headings can be assigned to Title of the post and remaining headings h3 to h6 can be used in the post in the order of preference. The Html headings can be easily managed through Windows Live writer . where one can select the headings from h1 to h6.
Auto Pinging to Servers/Blog Directories
Spreading the words and gathering the traffic plus backlinks is part of SEO. Mostly the bloggers have to ping there blogs time to time to let know the blog directories about changes happened in the blog . Windows live writer can auto ping the list of servers you have defined in the Options>Ping Servers. Whenever you publish a post it will auto ping the severs given in the list.
Linking Older Posts in New Post
In windows Live Writer Older posts can be easily linked while writing new posts. In “Insert Hyperlink” one easily select the older posts to create the links in the newer posts. its better to inter link your posts to pass the Page Rank Juice to all the pages. Its also increase the visitor engagement and page views for the blog.
