Facebook API key (Application programming interface key) is the code associated with the application you have created on the facebook. Every facebook application is assigned a API key.

To get the facebook API key just follow these steps;

1. Go to facebook developers .

2. Click on Setup up New application.

3. Give the name of application which you want to create. Select the Agree and create the application  it will take you to the application page.

4. Click on " Back to My applications " on top of the page .

5. It will take application page where you can find and get the facebook API key associated with the application.
