Check Keyword Ranking Without Using Any Tool

There are many keywords rank checking tools available on the web where you can find the ranking of your blog or website in search engine for the given keywords. Various Ranking tools have various limits . Some can check your ranking position up to 100 search results for given keyword, some can up to 200 and some can even up to 1000 (this is the maximum which i have came across).Ranking of your webpage/blog in Search Engines (Google etc.) can also be checked without using any keyword ranking tool or SERP checking tool.The same in explained under;

1. Go to Google advanced search.

2. Write the keyword for which you want to know your ranking in the filed all these words .

3. Change the Result per page to the  100 results. and click on advanced search. You will get the 100 search results per page with your keyword.

 

4. Now press Ctrl+F to find. Type whole or part of the main url of your blog or website and press find if your blog or website is ranked within 1st 100 result then obviously you will find your web page. If one cannot find the webpage in the 1st 100 then it can repeat this process for page 2 (101-200 Position) page 3 (201-300 position).. & so on.

Same methodology can be adopted for the other search engine (yahoo etc.). In that way you can check the ranking for keywords  without using any web ranking or SERP tool and there would also be no limit that you can only check for top 100 or 200 etc. Its important to keep an eye on your Ranking position in search engines for the keyword relating to your webpage. if you are not in top 100 then you do not mean business.
