Earlier I have written about the importance of email subscription that how can you engage the reader by adding email subscription form by feedburner to your blog. It not only give ease to the users who like to get updates via email but also gives you chance to build most important email list for your blog promotion etc.
Recently Blogger Team announced that they are going to bring some major updates/changes in the Blogger blog in year 2011. Today Blogger announced a Follow by Email Gadget or Email Subscription Gadget at Blogger Buzz by stating ;
The Follow by Email gadget provides blog authors a simple way for their readers to subscribe to the latest hot-off-the-press updates, which are delivered directly to the reader’s inbox. When new blog content is published, all subscribed readers will receive a daily email notification of the new published posts, which includes a copy of the new content as well as links back to the actual posts.
The Gadget will easily allow your reader to subscribe to your posts / updates via email . It will also allow the feedburner to track the subscription information.
You can get the gadget by following the path Design > Page Elements > Add a Gadget
