Interesting Way of Reading Tweets Through Google Reader

You might have many favorite twitter tweets to whom you are following to keep in touch with the tweets. In twitter interference its almost very difficult to read the tweets if your are following too many people. There is also List option in twitter where you can create the list (group) of the tweeters to whom you are following. This can ease the process of reading tweets as you can create list for each of your interest. There is an another interesting way to read your favorite tweets . Reading Tweets through Google Reader. As in Google Reader you can read or see any webpage having the feed. So as the feed of the pages updates Google Reader also get updated automatically. Every Twitter Account also has its feed. 

By utilizing this feed address one can read any twitter feed or twitter tweets with Google Reader.

How to add twitter tweets to Google Reader

- Click on the RSS feed icon of twitter feed you want to add in Reader.

- Copy the address. Go to Google Reader and go to " Add a Subscription " and paste the feed address you have copied earlier & Click on Add.

- The Twitter tweets will be added to your Google Reader.

What you can get by reading tweets in Reader

Create Group of tweets of your interest 

To create the group of tweets of your different interest create folder of each of your interest in reader and move the concerned tweet there. Its like list option in twitter

Fun reading tweets through Reader play

There other interesting part of reading twitter tweets through Google Reader is the feature " View in Reader Play ",you can find this under the " Feed Settings" . Its like playing the tweets on big screen . You will be having the enlarged one tweet at one time and with keyboard cursor of "next" , " previous" you can easily move through your favorite tweets. What i experienced its lost more easy and fun to read the twitter tweets in the Reader Play than reading your time line in twitter.

Sorting the tweets

In Reader you can easily sort the tweets which you have already read and which you have not read. There is also other sorting option available in reader like oldest, newest etc which is not possible in twitter.

Share the tweets while reading

you can share the tweets to your favorite social networking site (facebook, Diigo etc ..) while reading through Reader. Keep in mind its not possible through twitter. To share the thing through Reader read my post  Share things through Google Reader.

Read tweets in your language

If you are using other language in Google Reader to read the feeds then you can read the tweets in other language also. wow!. the option is available under " Feed Settings".

Search or Find tweets

you can search/find the tweets for any thing through Reader Search Option.

Bookmark your favorite tweets

You can bookmark your favorite tweets by utilizing "starred items" option in the reader
