Google look like in an " Instant " race. After few days of rolling out of Google Instant Search now Google Rolls out " Instant Previews " which is a visual kind of search and instant in nature. In this search every search result is associated with page view (preview) of search result which can be viewed either by clicking right arrow on keyboard or by clicking on magnifying glass present at right side of every search result . In preview you can not only view the page but can see the highlighted section of the page that is most related to your search result. So before landing you can view the page and the section which is related to your search. Its kind of graphic search. Previously the user don't have the idea where he/she going to land when they would click the link.
Its an enhancement to make the search experience more faster and better. Google always wants to provide most relevant and quick search results. Google instant was its first bigger leap to make the search more faster and without use of mouse to save the time. Now the Instant Previews is another addition which cannot be regarded as speedy result in term of searching but it would save time in deciding whether the page serve your purpose or not. They said in testing the product the more people are likely to be satisfied with the result of instant previews.
In our testing, we’ve found that people who use Instant Previews are about 5% more likely to be satisfied with the results they click. The previews provide new ways to evaluate search results, making you more likely to find what you’re looking for on the pages you visit
Lets see that 5 % will increase or decrease with the passage of time. What i think, which can be wrong, most people love Google because its provide most relevant ,fast search results and its plain/simple in nature. With the passage of time Google is making its search instant but its making its bit complicated for the user. When Google launched the instant, most of the people which were unaware of the fact, thought that its displaying their search history. But time will tell how people would react about this enhancement but one thing is sure that its making more difficult for its competitor "Bing" to catch it.
