Why i have given it the title Best Way of Creating Categories in Blogger blogspot b.c what i think its the best available solution today for creating the categories in the Blogger blog in given limitations. Previously i have written a tip to create the categories in my post " Adding Categories to Blogger Blog " in which you have to  bring the posts of similar label under one set of heading. But the main drawback of this method is that you can have a large number of labels depending upon your topics and to bring all your posts under one set of heading by utilizing labels is tedious and difficult thing.
The other thing is some time you have many posts under one label,whenever anyone will go to the this category it will open all the post.

then ,Whats the best way to create or add Categories in Blogger ?

The Best way to create categories in Blogger blogspot is that you can give the links of all posts of one category in single post, then publish it and link your  post as category in the "Link List" Widget in Blogger. That's how i created categories in my blog hosted on Blogger.To do so follow the tutorial;

1. First of all create list or database of your blog posts along with their links or URLs in a table in MS Excel or MS Word. It will ease your work of creating categories and you can also use this data base in future, its better to do it .You can see my simple database or table in snapshot below. If you cant do this or you don't want to do this then you can still create the categories by this tutorial but in that case you have to provide the Title and Link of the Posts by going again and again to your blog .

 2. Now Create the Post for the first category e.g (X) of your blog and write the tile of the post, Archives for the " X" Category. Now simply copy and paste the Post titles and Links from the table of posts you have created in step (1) or if you have not created the table then get the titles and links of the posts related to a category by going through your blog. Publish the Post and copy the link and save it on your computer, notepad etc.

3. Repeat step (3) for as many categories as you required.

4. Now go to the Design > Page Elements from Blogger Dashboard.

5. Click on Add a Gadget and select the "Link List" Gadget

.

6. In "Link List" Gadget write " Categories " in Title field. Leave Blank the field " Number of Links to show in list ". Select the Sorting of your choice.

7. In " New Site URL" field give the URL of the post created for category in the step (2). In the "New Site Name" Give the name of your category , e.g if you want to create category for SEO than write SEO over there.Click on Add Link it will create the link. Repeat this step for as many categories as you required. 

8. Place the Category Gadget at appropriate place in Blogger. and Save It . You are done.

Now whenever a visitor will click on any category it will show the Post Titles with the embedded link present in this category and visitor can easily go through the list of posts.Keep updating the concern category list with every new post. In that way you will not only able to make or add the clean category menu for the Blogger blogspot but also it will create a kind of Sitemap of your blog.
