How to Claim Your Blog In Technorati

Technorati is one of the most famous blog directory . Technorati authority of any blog is also a measure of blog quality and authority. If you have not added your blog to technorati then do add it. Here under a simple procedure is given to claim your blog in technorati.

Before following this you should have technorati account if you do not have then get it.

1. After logging in go to your profile page in technorati (http://technorati.com/account/)

2. At the bottom you can find My claimed blogs, in the “start a claim” field type your blog url address and press the claim button.

3. It will take you to the new claim page. Fill in the details their about your blog.Carefully select the Site categories and write Site tags.After completing the form click on “ proceed to the next page”.It will take you to the blog claim status.

4. Now go to the email address which is linked to the technorati and you will find the new email from technorati. In the mail you can find the claim token for your blog which will be like this (SPPC7KYRNUFF).

5. Now go to your blog and post a new post with claim token in it and publish the post.

6. Now go to your technorati Profile and under My Claimed Blogs click on “Check Claim”.    

7. It will take you to the " Claim Status " Page which will give you the instructions to put the code in your new post to verify the owner ship of blog. you have already completed this in step 4. Click on the verify claim token button. 

8. It will complete your blog claim process in technorati.
