In this article I am going to explain, step by step, that how to auto tweet your blog posts/feeds on twitter using feed burner to improve traffic to your blog.

Feedburner not only allow you to burn your feeds for your blog but it offers other tools also to help you get more traffic to your blog. One of the way is feedburner can post or tweet your feed automatically, with some customization as u like, to social networking site like twitter.

You should have twitter and feedburner account before following under mentioned steps:

1. login to your feed burner account
2. click to your feed title or titles
3. than go to publicize tab it will look like this

 

 

1. In the left column under services you can find socialize link. By clicking on it you will see this

 

 

1. Click on Add a Twitter account. It will take to you to this page.

 

 

1.  As another party (your Google feed service) is trying to access twitter service so twitter will ask you wither you want to allow this application to your twitter account or not. Click on Allow and your twitter account will be added to your feed burner account.
2. In the formatting options you can format your feed to be tweeted on twitter social networking site by feedburner. You can change this and can see in Sample item preview that how changes will take effect.The other things in formatting are self explanatory in nature.
3. When you are done with formatting click on activate and service will get activate. Afterwards, whenever you will post something on your blog the feedburner will automatically tweet or auto tweet it to your twitter account with the formatting you have chosen at Sr.7.

In the auto tweeting process Google use Google URL shortener service (goo.gl) which you can use to get the analytics related to your post shorten url.
